The Leyen is a nature reserve northwest of Bilthoven. The forest is located on the border of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug and the peatlands. The area is an offshoot of the Ridderoordse Bos and lies between the N234 and the Bilthoven-Utrecht railway line. On the east side it is bordered by the Eikensteijnselaan and on the west side by the Twislaan of the Beukenburg estate. De Leyen is owned by Het Utrechts Landschap and belongs to the ecological main structure.
