You are standing at the only remaining farm building of the model farm. To prevent diseases, water from the Seelbeek was first filtered in this filter building. There is another filter cellar underground. From this filter cellar, the purified stream water was pumped through pipes to the buildings of the farm. The cows were only given this clean water to drink and were scrubbed off with it daily. This photo was taken after the restoration in the mid-1980s.
