The Bleiswijkse Verlaat is a lock with pointed doors between the Rottemeren and the Heulsloot near Bleiswijk in the municipality of Lansingerland, in the Dutch province of South Holland. The lock is no longer operated. The design of the lock is from 1772. The current lock was completely restored in 1972. This happened again in 2015. The costs amounted to about 1.6 million euros. The lock no longer has a protective function, only a water-retaining function, according to the archaeological association and museum Bleiswijk.
The shield length is 20 m, the width 3 m and the threshold depth BP -1.20 m. The lock still has the construction of locks from earlier times. The lock walls are not bricked but made of wood. The construction is equipped with wooden yokes at the top. A similar lock in the area is the Boterdorpse Verlaat. Behind the lock is a new fixed bridge, the clearance height is a few decimeters above bosom level.
