Fort bij Rijnauwen is a Dutch fort near the hamlet of Rhijnauwen in the municipality of Bunnik. It is part of the New Dutch Water Line.
With an area of 32 hectares, this is the largest fortress of the NHW. It was built in 1867-1869 as part of the forward line forts near Utrecht. This forward line served to close the Houtense Vlakte. This area is a bit higher than the surroundings and therefore could not be fully inundated.
