The former station Bosch en Duin was located on the route of the old railway line Bilthoven - Zeist. The station was closed in 1941, during the temporary suspension of the line. After World War II, the line was put back into use, but only for freight transport.
The railway line has been dismantled, but at the location where the station once stood, there was still an old carriage from the ZHESM. The carriage was still inhabited in June 2005, and in April 2015 it was demolished, with usable parts being taken from it. The carriage once operated on the Hofpleinlijn, an electric rail service between Rotterdam and Scheveningen, which opened in 1908.
