The Grootmeer and the Kleinmeer are two fens located in Wintelre in the municipality of Eersel, province Noord-Brabant.De fens are located in the forest area Buikheide and Oude Molen, which is owned by the municipality of Eersel and is 520 hectares in size. Because they are not acidified, they have a special vegetation, which is why they were designated as a protected natural monument in 1990. They are part of the Natura 2000 area Kempenland-West.Drifting of sand during the cold period of the Weichselian caused the formation in a natural way.
