The 1st residential complex was designed by Dudok in 1915.
To keep rents low, very simple houses were built. But the village structure, with front gardens and staggered buildings and roofs with red tiles, has created an attractive residential area.
It included 180 residences, a public reading room, some shops and a public urinal. It is also known as the Anemonebuurt, part of the Bloemenbuurt.
The 2nd complex was built south of the 1st complex, partly at the same time from 1916. Central is the Geranium school.
In the design of the school, the influence of the Amsterdam School is clearly visible in the rich detailing.
The 1st complex consists of:

Neuweg 196-268 (north side, between Bosdrift and Hilvertsweg)
