Visitors can get acquainted with the steam boilers that used to generate electricity at a unique location. The energy was used for three monasteries and the printing house in Steyl. The steam boilers are located in the Ketelhuis. That historic building has been refurbished in recent years and brought back to the old style. In the large hall is the steam engine that still runs during guided tours and open days. In the cellars you can see a beautiful exhibition about monastic professions from a bygone era.
A few days a year we have open day and monthly tours are given by appointment, visit here for our website for more information.
