Vineyard Noordal

This vineyard is situated on a southern slope of the Noordal halfway through the Mheerelindje on the other side of the Mheerelindje vineyard. This vineyard was planted by Pierre Gubbels, owner and resident of Wijndomein Heerenhuys der Pley in Noorbeek.
In 2009, 800 Chardonnay vines were planted in this vineyard. The Chardonnay is a noble breed. The Chardonnay Noordal is a full-bodied wine, with an enriching sense of taste through flavors such as citrus and lychee. The processing is partly mechanical and partly manual. The yield of the vineyard is about 600 bottles.
The vineyard is somewhat hidden halfway up the slope on the Mheerelindje, surrounded by trees and shrubs and forms an oasis of peace. The special location of this vineyard provides many hours of sunshine and warmth, which is retained for a long time by the limestone subsoil. The soil consists of limestone from the Gulpen Formation and is about 68 million years old.
