Hoekendaalse laantje

The Hoekendaalse laantje starts (or ends) in the parking lot of restaurant D. in Leersum and runs first through a narrow corridor between two houses and then along the backyard of a house. If the beginning of the path cannot be found, the path 150 meters west next to the Broekhuizerlaan is a good alternative.

The Hoekendaalse laantje already appears on centuries-old maps. In earlier times, this path was used by, among others, the inhabitants of the hamlet of Darthuizen when they wanted to go to their cemetery at the foot of the Tomb of Nellesteijn. Bordered by monumental oaks and beeches, the almost overgrown path winds its way through the fields. The narrow path partly follows the watercourse of the Schevickhovense Wetering.
