The Geerbosch is the connection between the Middegaal and the Vorstenbosscheweg. This road – which cars are only allowed to enter from the Middegaal – used to be called Parallelweg Noord.
Near the Vorstenbosscheweg is an old landfill.
The place is now part of the Geerbosch hiking area.
An insect garden has been created in the Geerbosch that is maintained by IVN Veghel. The IVN also organises excursions there.
The Geerbosch also gives access to the fields of the hockey club Geel Zwart.
