Description

This nature reserve around the Meuse is a water-rich paradise for plants, animals and hikers. Gravel extraction gave way to an example of intensive nature development
which is now gratefully used. You'll walk along grassy banks along the river accompanied by flowers, butterflies, and waterfowl.
During your walk you can also encounter some larger fauna (hopefully not literally!). The grazing of the Eijsder Beemden is provided by a herd
Konik horses and Galloway cattle. On a foggy morning, that's a beautiful sight.
