Our B&B is a perfect base for a long or short stay in the heart of Drenthe, 'The Drentse Highlands.'

Erfgoedlogies Diependal is located on the Diependal estate on the edge of the Hijkerveld.
This nature area is one of the most extensive heathlands in Drenthe where you can enjoy nature in all seasons. Even far into the horizon, you see hardly any signs of the inhabited world. The Drents Landscape Foundation manages this expansive field that transitions into the forest on all sides.

The spacious apartment (55 m²) with a living room, kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom is housed in a uniquely converted barn and is modernly and atmospherically furnished. The apartment is designed for 2 people and is also available as a holiday apartment.

From the entire apartment and the various terraces (two of which are covered), you have a beautiful view over the Hijkerveld. You are always the only guest(s) with us. You can choose for accommodation with or without breakfast. You can dream at Diependal on comfortable extra long (2.10 m) box spring beds in the separate bedroom, adjacent to a luxurious bathroom with toilet and walk-in shower. The bed can be arranged as a double bed or two single beds, as per your preference. In the separate kitchen with a refrigerator, 2-burner induction cooktop, microwave/oven, kettle, and Nespresso machine
you can prepare a simple meal or arrange breakfast.
