The Park of Huize Olterterp is a park of 5.5 hectares at Huize Olterterp on the Van Harinxmaweg in Olterterp. The head office of It Fryske Gea is located in the park.
The relief-rich park, laid out in the English landscape style with winding paths, the pond and the hill, was probably laid out by landscape architect Lucas Pieters Roodbaard. That would have been a few years after the construction of the castle, in 1793. The original fens were converted into ponds, around which artificial hills were made. The former castle was built for Ambrosius van Boelens, grietman van Opsterland was replaced in 1907 by the present manor house.
