The Lindevallei is a nature reserve south of Wolvega in the province of Friesland. The first pieces of marshland came into the possession of It Fryske Gea around 1940.
Until 2007, 785 hectares in the stream valley of the river Linde were acquired by the nature conservation organization. These include the Helomapolder, Driessenpolder, Gorterspolder, Lindepoolder, the Botke Reserve, Onland and the Oude Stroomdal. The area stretches roughly from De Hoeve to beyond the Drieweg lock at Nijetrijne and is part of the 'wet axis' of marsh areas on the border of Friesland and Overijssel. The nature policy is aimed at connecting the Weerribben and the Wieden in Northwest Overijssel via the Linde Valley with the Rottige Meente in Friesland.
