Wyckerpoort, formerly also known as Wyckerveld, is a residential neighborhood in the eastern part of the Dutch city of Maastricht. It is one of the 44 official districts within the municipality of Maastricht. The neighborhood is named after the German Gate or Wyckerpoort, one of the medieval city gates of Maastricht. Wyckerpoort was originally nestled between the railway line in the west and the N2 city highway in the east. Since 2016, the King Willem-Alexander Tunnel and Green Loper form the eastern boundary. To the north and south, the neighborhood boundary coincides with the inner ring of Maastricht, namely the Viaductweg and the N278, respectively. Wyckerpoort borders in the west with Sint Maartenspoort, Wyck, and Heugemerveld, in the south with Randwyck, in the east with Scharn and Wittevrouwenveld, and in the north with Nazareth and Limmel.
