Maastricht-Oost, also known as Buitenwijk Oost or Wijk 4, is one of the seven districts of the Dutch city and municipality of Maastricht. In addition, the municipality of Maastricht uses a different division into five districts and 44 districts, with no East district. Maastricht-Oost has an area of approximately 1321 hectares, making it the largest district of Maastricht in terms of surface area. The district consists of seven neighbourhoods and has over 31,000 inhabitants.
