Rijpelberg, commonly referred to as De Rijpel, is a residential area in the east of the North Brabant city of Helmond. Construction of Rijpelberg began in 1978 as part of the designation of Helmond as a growth city. Rijpelberg is a neighborhood with a lot of public green spaces, some of which consist of pieces of forest that were already present before the development of the neighborhood. The cycling paths in the neighborhood follow the course of former country lanes.
