Almere Hout is a district in the municipality of Almere in the Dutch province of Flevoland. Almere Hout has been under development since 1992 and had 3,688 inhabitants as of November 1, 2020. Almere Hout is located to the southeast of Almere Stad and lies between the A6 and A27, above the N305. The natural location is between the Waterland Forest and the open landscape of the polder. Part of Almere Hout is the villa neighborhood Vogelhorst, of which the second phase is currently under construction. The construction of the new residential area Nobelhorst in Almere Hout North started in early 2013. Furthermore, Almere Hout is being expanded with the under-construction neighborhood Oosterwold.
