Description

Lexmond is a village in the Dutch province of Utrecht. The village originated at the mouth of the Laak, a small river that connected the Zederik with the Lek around 1000. The word Lexmond therefore means mouth of the Laak and not so much mouth of the Lek. Until 1986 Lexmond was an independent municipality.
