The Lisserbrug is a drawbridge over the Ringvaart canal of the Haarlemmermeerpolder in North Holland. The bridge connects the Lisserbroekweg and the Lisserdijk in the North Holland village of Lisserbroek with the Kanaalstraat in the South Holland village of Lisse.
Lisserbroek is located opposite Lisse on the edge of the Haarlemmermeer and has never been permanently flooded, but it has been permanently flooded from time to time. The street Turfspoor runs along the edge of this old swampy headland, which formed the eastern part of the Lisserbroekpolder before the reclamation of the Haarlemmermeer. The eastern part of the polder was cut off by the ring canal during the reclamation of the Haarlemmermeer. In the forties of the nineteenth century, the first bridge, a wooden overhead bridge, appeared over the ring canal between Lisserbroek and Lisse, making it the first bridge over the ring canal, even before the complete reclamation in 1852. After that, several bridges and ferries appeared over the ring canal with the old land.
