View of IJsselstein is a nationally protected city view in IJsselstein in the Dutch province of Utrecht. The procedure for designation was initiated on May 15, 1964. The area was definitively designated on August 8, 1966. The protected view covers an area of 15.9 hectares.
Buildings that fall within a protected view do not automatically receive the status of a protected monument. However, the municipality will adjust the zoning plan to regulate new developments in the area. The view protection focuses on the urban planning and cultural-historical appreciation of an area and aims to safeguard its future functioning.
