For now, the plantation is part of the farm. Besides the asparagus and strawberries, there are now several thousand tea plants in the ground. These are divided over three tea gardens. These are the plants that are also harvested. From the harvested leaves, we then make the tea ourselves.
In the greenhouses, we have a real 'nursery' where young plants of different varieties are grown. It's the trial garden, so to speak: that's where we see which varieties thrive and grow best in the Dutch climate.
