This is the esteemed erve Wensman (52), also mentioned in 1343. When Christianity was introduced here with a heavy hand, around 800, the farmer on the Werensinc or Wensman estate and his family would have been the last to bend their knees. They would then have been executed (burned, says the saga) as punishment for their perseverance at the Wodansdienst, after which their remains would have been buried in the heath. Since then, the souls of these last Loser pagans have been floating around.
