Campsite Het Horstmannsbos

At a unique location in the woods near the Drouwenerzand nature reserve you will find camping the Horstmannsbos. Our campsite is located in beautiful Gasselte, in the province of Drenthe. Located on the Hondsrug between the towns of Gieten and Borger. Here you can relax.

The camping pitches are located in the forest on a natural sand drift. If you are lucky, you will even be woken up in the morning by the herd of Drenthe heath sheep that walk around in the nature reserve. You imagine yourself completely in nature, but with all facilities within walking distance. In addition, we have various fields with spacious, partly demarcated, pitches. Lovely in the sun? Or cooling in the shade? Everything is possible.

The various camping fields on our forest campsite offer something for everyone.
For example, there are fields that are open and there are fields that all have demarcated camping pitches.
And there are even fields with a combination of both types of places.
Would you like to sit in the sun?
Or do you prefer a cooler shady place?
That is also possible!

Our camping pitches are suitable for tents, folding trailers, caravans and motorhomes.
At each place it is also possible to place a side tent.
All pitches are approx. 100m2 in size.
Each pitch has 10 ampere electricity and 90% of the pitches also have a CAI connection.
Pets are allowed (on a leash) with a maximum of 2 pets per pitch.
