Bakker Nijstad is a participant in the project From Akker naar Bakker. In Elsloo, grain is grown in a natural way, without pesticides or fertilizers. The mill in Makkinga grinds the grain into flour and Bakker Nijstad bakes delicious original breads from it: Weijerts Eijgen.
