Pancakes 't Mussennest

At the edge of the forest in the rustic village of Wapenveld, you will find pancake restaurant 't Mussennest. Six days a week, you can come to us for the tastiest pancakes, but also for a salad, satay with fries, fresh sandwiches, or a cup of coffee with homemade apple pie. 't Mussennest is located in the heart of the Veluwe and has been a well-known phenomenon in the region for over 45 years.

Thanks to its central location, our restaurant is a popular place for a cozy gathering with family, cyclists, and hikers, as well as business meetings. Just a five-minute drive away is Hattem, but larger cities like Zwolle and Apeldoorn can also be reached in about fifteen minutes. The area around our restaurant is often visited by walkers, cyclists, and motorbikes exploring the Veluwezoom via the paths specifically laid out for this purpose. The spacious parking lot adjacent to our restaurant has room for coaches and motorbikes.

At 't Mussennest, everything revolves around hospitality. For both young and old, our restaurant is a place to enjoy relaxed meals and have a pleasant afternoon or evening. Our menu always features something you will like. All of our products are prepared with authentic regional ingredients. For example, the ingredients for our homemade apple pie come from the local, artisanal miller.

During holiday periods, we are open seven days a week. While you enjoy your drink at a leisurely pace, the children can have fun in the outdoor playground or the play corner in our restaurant.
