The Polderhouse was built in 1865 on a plot along the then Rustenburgersloot. At that time, it was surrounded by randomly placed houses and sheds. The polderhouse stands slightly outside the building line, and at the sidewalk, you can also see that originally the street level was a few decimeters lower.
Behind the house was a shed and a garage. For decades, there was a body shop located there. Now there is a large residential building. The polderhouse has since been nicely renovated.
