BFFL brAbAnt, that is the name of our water buffalo farm!

... and since the beginning of 2021, we switched to water buffaloes. On our water buffalo farm, there are buffaloes of all ages; from newborns to milk-producing ones. The calves that are born stay on our farm as well.
After being engaged for several years in researching the future of our dairy farm and the recurring idea of switching from cows to water buffaloes, we decided in January 2021 to actually take the step!
Of course, this comes with a new name: as true Brabanders, living in the AA valley with the AA river behind our farm, the name BFFL brAbAnt was quickly born. Our logo combines the waves of the AA, nature, and the distinctive head of the water buffalo into a whole.
In February 2021, the first water buffaloes arrived. After that, pregnant water buffaloes from Italy followed. In May 2021, our first buffalo gave birth to a calf and the milk production started. By October, more than 60 calves had been added.
The milk is processed into many delicious and healthy products. The most famous is mozzarella. But do try our custard, yogurt, and buttermilk as well! There are no unnecessary additives in them. You can taste that and, above all, it's healthy! Ice creams should certainly not be missing.
