The Vrouwendel is a tough climb from the Vrakelbergweg to the hamlet of Elkenrade. The slope is almost a kilometre long and has an average gradient of 6.7%. At the end, just before the first farmhouses of Elkenrade, you have to go firmly into the pendals, because there the beautiful hollow road rises by more than 11%.
