On the Overslagdijk, at the intersection with the St. Elooipolderweg, there is boundary marker 301. This is not in the boundary line but should be more than 2.5 meters further north in the middle of the concrete road. The houses belong to the Berdelinggebuurte, a hamlet that consists of four roads: the Palingstraat, Overslagdijk (B), De Gebuurte and Buurtweg (Nl).
The Overslagpolder is the southernmost polder in Zeeland and was created in 1672 after the inundation of part of the land of Oud Zuiddorpe.
The owners had diked the area of 138 measured with their own hands. As a result of this initiative, the polder benefited from exemption from tithes.
