Against the façade of Dorpsstraat 1 is a bluestone Austrian boundary marker from 1770. For a long time, this pole served as a sill in the fence of the driveway next to it. In the mid-1990s, the pole was erected by the Provincial Public Works Department. The pole is very intact because in its 'sill' period it lay with its side up, so that both reliefs remained undamaged. On the side of the Habsburg eagle there is a longitudinal quarry sign. The length of the pole is about 248 cm and has a thickness of about 35 cm. It is possible that the pole was previously located at one of the points where boundary markers 298 and 299 now stand.
