This is the fishing area on the Turfkade, dating from 1647 .

Fish supplied here was sold to fish walkers and fish walkers . These sat on the benches in the fishing area and bought the fish to peck the city and the countryside with. The fish auctioneer took care of the auction of the fish in the fish auction house.
