Not far from Kochbunker Kale Jacob 1 lies on the same forest path Kochbunker Kale Jacob 2. This is also a Kochbunker from the end of World War II. The wall of the bunker consists of a kind of masonry well ring. On top of that lies a concrete "well cover" with a small opening. Through this opening, a periscope could be inserted. This bunker was therefore not a shooting pit but a bunker to keep an eye on the surroundings. The bunker was part of the Beek-Riegel, a German defensive line.
