Between the Reekse and the Gaalse Heath, south of Reek, lies the Mineursberg. Where mines once detonated and later motorcycles raced, children now play hide and seek. Eighty hectares of heathland to explore. There is a water spring present and walking routes throughout the entire area. For those who prefer to tackle the elevation changes by bike, there is an off-road biking route.
