The Watermill of Opwetten offers something truly unique, as where in the world can you be in a painting by Vincent van Gogh? Van Gogh lived about 135 years ago in Nuenen and regularly passed this largest water wheel in the Netherlands, which made the watermill a favorite drawing and painting subject for this artist. Today, you can enjoy not only the beautiful location but also a delightful bistro-style, atmospheric, and hospitable restaurant. In the words of a British guest: “Delicious food and an awesome location. Combine this with great hospitality and this is the place to be on a sunny afternoon!”
Transport yourself to Southern France The restaurant is located on a little island...
