The Gelderland Hanseatic town of Doesburg is located precisely at the point where the Old IJssel and the IJssel converge. At this intersection stands the pumping station: the location of the 9th artwork of the Silo Art Tour. The Rijn and IJssel water authority owns the pumping station from 1962 and manages it to ensure water safety, water quality, and the protection of the surrounding area. For this location, artist Sydney Waerts from Lelystad was chosen. An artist with a photorealistic style who likes to explore the darker edge.
