The Lutheran Church was built in 1615 on the site of the former Witteheren monastery (Norbertine monastery, see also Frans Loenenhofje and Luther's court).
In the second half of the 19th century, the church was provided with a new façade. Notable are the pulpit and the oak benches from the second half of the 17th century and the oak baptismal railing. The church houses the Ströbel organ, which dates back to the 19th century.
