house Malborgh
Until the mid-nineteenth century, house Malborgh was a farm; after which the current residence was built. The further construction on the site is very recent and no longer belongs to the house. Around 1970, the house came into the hands of a doctor, who furnished the property with antiques. After that, offices were established there. House Malborgh is located almost in the center of Buggenum, but is not open to the public.

The castle Malborgh, also known as Walbergh, is said to have once been owned by the van Ghoors, but since the fifteenth century, the house has been the property of a convent named Val Sint Elisabeth.
