The Daelsweg from Benzenrade to Ubachsberg is an inclined road that featured in many episodes of Limburgs Mooiste as a descent to the finish line in the route. In 2025, it will be the first slope that the riders of the Orange Routes, the Yellow and the Blue loop encounter on their route: the Putberg. The slope is just over two kilometers long. The maximum gradient is 6.1%, with an average of 3.4%. Recently, the slope was equipped with a wide bike path on the right side, which is used by both climbers and descenders. Halfway up is an old lime kiln, an industrial monument built from Kunderstone that is currently being restored.
