At the spot where Prince Maurits crossed the Dinkel with his army during the Eighty Years' War (1597), we can now also cross the Dinkel and through beautiful walks and lovely photos, one can see how it was then and how it is now. This is a historic place with a beautiful bridge that was completed in 2010 and a real (wooden) cannon.
