The Aa of Goorloop is the name for the upper course of the Groote Beerze. It springs from the nature reserve Riebos in Lommel at an altitude of about 45 m and flows northward from there.
The stream then reaches the Netherlands in the municipality of Bergeijk, flowing through a reclamation area to the Boswachterij De Kempen. Here, the stream again touches the border, at 't Jachthuis, but remains in the Netherlands now. Further on, it forms a marsh area within the forestry, which is a nature reserve within the forest.
North of the A67 motorway, the stream exits the forest and flows through the estate Ten Vorsel, where the Vorselse Molen used to stand on the stream. Where Hapert is reached, the Dalem stream flows into the Aa of Goorloop, after which both rivers continue their flow as Groote Beerze.
