AzureFrom Hoofddorp station you walk over the green Geniedijk, remnant of the past. After the forts and batteries of the Geniedijk you walk through a recreation area along the ring canal of the Haarlemmermeer. From April to September a ferry sails to the impressive Cruquius pumping station. On a towpath along the Spaarne you arrive in the beautiful city center of Haarlem. The route is also suitable for Nordic Walking. 45% of the route is unpaved.
