Beautiful walk that takes you through two different nature reserves: the Schaopedobbe and the Drents-Friese Wold. The Schaopedobbe is managed by It Fryske Gea. Outside the breeding season you can also follow the walking path through the heath. Staatsbosbeheer manages the Drents-Friese Wold. You walk across the fields where various crops are grown and along the Canadameer, a recreational lake that was created by sand excavations. You also pass the Spartelvijver where dogs can run around freely and enjoy themselves in the water!
