At Appelscha you will find the highest point on the Friesland mainland: the Bosberg. In addition to the Bosberg, you will find two more locations at Appelscha that are referred to as mountains: the Roggeberg and the Hildenberg.
Besides the name, there are more similarities: each mountain has a tourist role with a golf course, a lookout tower and a recreational park and at each "mountain" you will find catering establishments. Have fun during your mountain hike at Appelscha!
