Round Zaan- Wormer- Jisp and Twiske

You can start this route at Sportlaan in Landsmeer. Near the sports park, there is ample parking available.

A cycling route with contrasts. You cycle through the beautiful nature of the Jisper and Wormerveld and in Purmerland and the lovely Twiskepolder. But during the ride, you are also confronted with the largest Dutch food industry along the Zaan, with many well-known companies. You will also encounter significant industrial heritage and beautifully renovated warehouses that have been made available for habitation. Additionally, there are special boats moored at the quay. If you reach the hamlet of Spijkerboor, you can choose to cross with the small ferry and then bike over the bridge to the right towards Fort Spijkerboor and back again.

For those who love junction routes, here is the order of the junctions: Landsmeer (start and finish) junction 20 (Sportlaan) -19- 16- 17- 12- 74- 72- 73- 92 - 93- 89 (Note: via foot ferry with self-service in Knollendam) -59- 44- 45- 33- 32- 14- 13- 15- 20. The foot ferry is temporarily out of service. You can simply continue straight and then reconnect with the route at the cycling ferry in Spijkerboor.
