Wasserwege

Walking route from the parking lot (free parking) in the center of Kerkrade and then to the abbey of Rolduc and a steep descent, sunken road, of 10% to the abbey water mill Baalsbruggermolen. Then along the railway, Miljoenenlijntje, and through the beautiful Wormdal. The Wasserwege also runs here and we follow the route signs into Germany at the recreation Naturpark, after which we walk to the silver sand quarry and have a beautiful view over Herzogenrath and the church tower of the abbey of Rolduc. The route continues to the Baalsbruggermolen after which we pass the old border post of Haanrade and via Burgrode back to the parking lot in the city center.
