Round Col du VAM

The Round Col du VAM begins in Hoogeveen. Via the old Hoogveensche Vaart we head to Zuidwolde. After the forests of Steenbergwerweide, we cycle through the farmlands to Plan Schoonhoven. And from here you cycle along a section of the long-distance route Round Drenthe. Via old windmills and along canals, you'll arrive in Noordscheschut from where you can continue cycling to Tiendeveen. Now we head to the colder regions because Siberia is the next village we will visit. From there, we go to the Col du VAM, the roof of Drenthe. The route runs along the course: you can take on the challenge and try to climb the mountain. Next, we head towards Wijster and then to Spier. From here you cycle through the national park Dwingelderveld. Once we've done that, we cycle to Fluitenberg under the smoke of Hoogeveen, and then it's just a short distance to where you started.
