This tour departs from the center of Kerkrade. Soon we cycle through the beautiful nature reserve of the Cranenweijer. Then through the monumental district of De Witte Hopel, after which we drive through the district of Leenhof, which has the status of a protected cityscape. Passing the Leender chapel and the site of the Roman settlement, we stop at the castle ruins of Schaesberg for a visit and settle down on the terrace.
The way back again goes through a renovated neighborhood with art. This was also a former miners' colony before returning through Schaesberg, Terwinselen and Kaalheide along the GaiaZoo through the Bril van Kerkrade to pass Vie at the end of the route.
