This route is extremely suitable for families with adventurous children aged 6 and up. It's a fun way to get acquainted with mountain biking. The distance of 11 kilometers is quite short, but there are still a few exciting climbs and descents in the route, as it takes you through the area around the Bemelerberg. It's an ideal first introduction to the MTB sport.

In Bemelen and Gasthuis, you can take a nice break on a spacious terrace before climbing the next hilltop. This special Family Ride mountain biking route is part of an extensive marked network throughout South Limburg, totaling 500 km in length. You start your route at the sports hall in Margraten, where you can also park.

The routes are marked in one direction for clarity and safety: clockwise. The routes are designed so that mountain bikers can enjoy themselves while preserving the most sensitive terrain, forests, and natural areas. Therefore, a friendly request not to deviate from the routes and never ride through vegetation. At various points, you must also be mindful of other recreational users. Please pay attention to the warning signs along the routes.
